20 Pets That Are Role Model Of Losing Weight

Humans are not the only ones fighting with obesity. The burgeoning epidemic also affects animals – more than 50 percent of cats and dogs across the globe are either overweight or obese.

The lifespan of overweight dogs was up to 2 and a half years shorter when compared to dogs with healthy body weights, says study. Therefore, it’s in our hands to make our pets more energetic and happy.

When my mom went into assisted living last year, we had to find a home for her kitty, Missy. Missy hated me and attacked me every chance she could and at that time I lived in an apartment with 3 cats. My cousin loved her and tried to keep her, but she was very nasty to one of her cats. She tried for everything to keep her, but it just wasn’t fair to any of the kitties. So we were told there was someone who had a child that would love her. Missy went to live with them last April and then the decided they no longer wanted her, but not before they did this to her. I’m convinced she was given no attention but instead bowls and bowls of food. So I agreed to take her and get her well again. I just had to, my mom loved her so much. So far she isn’t attacking me, but she needs to get along with the boys…….oh and she needs to lose 12 POUNDS! She has a lot of work to do #bigcatlove #biggirlbiglove #myfursister #purrfectmissy #chonk #weightlossgoals #catweightloss #bigcatsofinstagram #chonkycat
